Making your appointment
Providing you have received a letter from your funding body that confirms your eligibility for DSA assessment, we can offer you an assessment date when you contact your chosen centre. It is therefore useful if you have a copy of your timetable to hand when contacting us.
Appointments are offered Monday-Friday (see opening times), excluding public holidays and subject to your availability, will usually occur within 15 working days of the date you contact us. Any special requirements for your assessment should be discussed at this time.
When booking your assessment we will request information about your contact details, nature of your condition and your course. Alternatively you can submit this in advance by filling in this online form (coming soon).
Following contact you will be sent a letter with your appointment details and directions to the centre. This correspondence will also include a request for you to send medical evidence or a copy of your diagnostic report to us, as well as a copy of your letter confirming DSA eligibility within 5 working days.
Please be aware that it is the student's responsibility to submit this paperwork and failure to do so may result in the appointment being postponed. Unless sufficient details are gained at the time of contact, in order for appropriate information to be gathered before interview, you will also be sent a pre-assessment form asking for information about your course and your condition(s).
Booking an assessment
